Effective date: 15 June 2026. Version: 2.0.
1.1. This Cookie Policy explains how LANGUAGEUP ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE L.L.C uses cookies and similar technologies on the website and web platform at verbatica.ai and its subdomains, and how comparable technologies (SDKs, local storage, device identifiers) are used in the Verbatica mobile application. It supplements the Verbatica Privacy Policy.
2.1. Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and store certain information. We also use similar technologies: local storage, pixels, and, in the App, software development kits (SDKs) and mobile identifiers, which perform comparable functions. In this Policy, “cookies” refers to all such technologies.
2.2. Cookies may be “first-party” (set by us) or “third-party” (set by our service providers). By duration, cookies are either “session” cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or “persistent” cookies (stored for a defined period).
3.1. We use the following categories of cookies:

3.2. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If such cookies are introduced in the future, they will be set only with your prior consent, and this Policy will be updated accordingly.
3.3. A detailed, up-to-date list of specific cookies with names and exact lifetimes is available in the cookie-settings panel on the Web Platform or on request at privacy@verbatica.ai.
4.1. Strictly necessary cookies are used on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing a secure, functioning service; they cannot be switched off, as the Service cannot operate properly without them.
4.2. Functional and analytics cookies are set only with your consent, expressed through the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You may give consent to all categories, reject all non-essential categories, or configure each category individually. Refusing non-essential cookies does not block access to the Service.
4.3. You may withdraw or change your consent at any time, with effect for the future, via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of the Web Platform or in the App settings.
5.1. In addition to our cookie-settings panel, you can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and others allow you to block or delete cookies). On mobile devices, you can limit the use of advertising identifiers in the device privacy settings. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair sign-in and core functions of the Service.
6.1. Third-party providers listed in Section 3 process data under their own privacy policies and, where they act as our processors, under data-processing agreements with us. Information collected through analytics and similar cookies may be transferred outside the UAE; such transfers are carried out with the safeguards described in Section 7 of the Privacy Policy.
7.1. We may update this Cookie Policy, for example when we add or remove tools. The current version, with its effective date, is always available on the Web Platform. Material changes will be reflected in the cookie banner or otherwise notified, and renewed consent will be requested where required.
